Ron Massullo stated that he spoke to several realtors involved in the Route 224 business corridor enhancement and invited one of them to attend tonight’s meeting.
- Dave Klacik
- Klacik Real Estate
- 87 W. McKinley Way
Klacik stated that the comprehensive zoning change that occurred in 2004 is limiting future development on the Route 224 corridor. There is interest for a community center for ages over 55 across the road from the Inn at Poland Way. He also stated that there is a big demand for villa style homes consisting of between 1,800 and 2,000 square feet. He stated there is a similar project of these villa homes in Canfield that he would like to duplicate the same in Poland Township. He stated that we need to broaden our horizons and look at some new concepts and this will help enable that corridor area to grow.
3rd Order of Business:
Ron Massullo referenced a GIS map of the Clingan Road to Struthers Road area that he presented to the Board members.
