Bill Gardner called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
1st Order of Business:
Frank Mazzocca motioned to approve the minutes of July 1, 2020. Bill Gardner seconded the motion.

2nd Order of Business:
Case ZC-01-20 – This is a request by Christopher Tofilski, representing the Free Polish Krakusky Society of Youngstown, Ohio. The purpose of this hearing is to rezone a five (5) acre parcel from its current zoning classification known as Office/Residential-1 (OF/R-1) District to Town Center (TC) District in its entirety. It is located along the north r/w of Center Road (State Route 224) approximately one thousand, six hundred twelve feet (1,612.00’) east of the Struthers Road-Center Road (State Route 224) intersection known as 4832 Center Road, in Poland Township, Lowellville, Ohio, Mahoning County, parcel number 35-085-0-006.00-0, Great Lot 42.

Tofilski stated the Free Polish Krakusky Society would like the property at 4832 Center Road to be rezoned to a Town Center (TC) district.
Bob Monus stated that the Mahoning County Planning Commission made a recommendation to deny the zone change request based on the land use plan at their July 28, 2020 meeting.
Bill Gardner asked if there were any questions or concerns from the audience. There were none.
After discussion amongst the Board members, the following motion was made:
Motion
Paul Sherman made a motion in Case ZC-01-20 to deny the zone change request as submitted, however, the Board is willing to consider modifications to allocate banquet centers within the Office (OF) District. Gene McCullough seconded the motion.
