- SPECIAL MEETING
The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Poland Township Administration Building located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio, the meeting was scheduled for 5:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting was contracts and personnel. The news media had been properly notified.
Chairman Ungaro welcomed everyone and called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM. Roll call was taken and present were Trustees: Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers.
The Trustees said the Pledge of Allegiance.
Chairman Ungaro moved to go into executive session at 5:05 PM for the purpose of contracts and personnel, motion seconded by Trustee Wollet. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet, and Kempers…motion carried.
Chairman Ungaro moved to exit executive session at 9:25 PM, motion seconded by Trustee Wollet. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers…motion carried.
Chairman Ungaro moved to go into regular session at 9:26 PM. Motion seconded by Trustee Wollet. Voting yes - Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers…motion carried
Chairman Ungaro moved to approve the contract for Teamster Local for the Road Department of Poland Township for years 2023 thru 2025, motion seconded by Trustee Wollet. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet, and Kempers…motion carried.
Chairman Ungaro moved to approve Teamster Local contract for Zoning and Clerical staff for years 2023 thru 2025, motion seconded by Trustee Wollet. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet, and Kempers…motion carried.
Chairman Ungaro moved to approve F.O.P. contracts for Sergeants and Patrol Units for 2023 thru 2025, motion seconded by Trustee Wollet. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet, and Kempers…motion carried.
Chairman Ungaro moved to approve Police Chief Wilson’s contract for 2023 thru 2025. Motion seconded by Trustee Wollet. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet, and Kempers…motion carried
Chairman Ungaro moved to adjourn at 9:32 PM, seconded by Trustee Wollet. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet, and Kempers…motion carried.
