Regular Meeting
The Poland Township Board of Trustees held their regular meeting December 9th, 2015 at 6:04 PM at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio.
Mr. Walters leads in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Scharville calls roll call. Ungaro, Lidle, and Wollet were present.
Ungaro motions to approve the minutes dated November 18th, 2015. Seconded by Wollet. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet, and Lidle.
Ungaro motions to authorize payment for all outstanding bills for the township. Seconded by Wollet. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet, and Lidle.
Paul Canter is present to give financial reports for the months of September, October, and November.
September 2015: Revenue - $37,319.03 Expenditures – 182,809.31
October 2015: Revenue - $72,075.46 Expenditures - $238,766.17
November 2015 (estimate): Revenue - $650,000 Expenditures - $200,000
RECYCLING DEPARTMENT:
Scharville gave monthly report.
A reminder is given about the Christmas tree recycling program in conjunction with the Green Team (drop off or curb pick up) 12-26-15 thru 01-31-16.
PARK COMMITTEE:
Mike Heher gave the monthly report and update on the sled riding hill.
ZONING DEPARTMENT:
Monus gave the report. Total valuation for the month of November was $573,095.00. Total fees collected - $4,522.00.
ROAD DEPARTMENT:
No monthly report given.
POLICE REPORT:
Chief Goodin gave monthly stats.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Jack W. – 7415 Cobblers Run – Spoke his concern about the flood issue and further studies to be done, if any, in 2016.
Ungaro motions to move into executive session for purpose of personnel. Seconded by Lidle. Voting yes – Ungaro, Lidle, and Wollet.
