                                                                         Special Meeting

The Poland Township Board of Trustees held their special meeting August 1, 2018 at 10:32a.m. at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland Ohio.

Mr. Canter leads the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mr. Scharville calls roll call. Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers were present.

 The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the necessity of a tax levy in excess of the ten mill limitation.

Mr. Scharville states that the meeting was properly advertised in the Vindicator.

                                                                                           Resolution 18-17

Ungaro motions to approve Resolution 18-17. Mr. Scharville puts forth Resolution 18-17 for the purpose of submitting to electors of the Township a levy in excess of the 10 mill limitation for the purpose of road improvement. Seconded by Wollet.  Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Canter asks the board if they need to rescind the previous tax levy. Small discussion between the Board.

Ungaro motions to rescind the previous motion of tax levy Resolution 18-13. Seconded by Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Ungaro motions to adjourn special meeting at 10:35 a.m. Seconded by Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers.
