PUBLIC HEARING SUNCREST DRIVE LIGHTING DISTRICT
Some residents removed their name from the Suncrest Drive Lighting District petition, making the votes less the 50% of those who desire to have the lights put up. There will be no further discussion due to lack of petition signatures.

Trustee Lidle motioned to pass Resolution # 14‐14 Nuisance Notice for 7143 Youngstown – Pittsburgh Rd, 2416 Bellaire, 6813 Luteran Ln, 3139 Center Rd, 8595 Shady Glen Trail, Youngstown – Pittsburgh Rd at E Western Reserve Rd & Youngstown – Pittsburgh Rd at Harvest Run Trail, and Seconded by Ungaro. Trustee Lidle motioned to pass Resolution # 14‐16 Nuisance Recovery Rates. Owners of property have 10 days to rectify the situation before Township arranges it to be taken care of. The rates for these arrangements to approve are:
‐ $150.00/hr for general removal of yard debris per lot from private property that constitutes a nuisance per Ohio Revised Code 505.87.
‐ $250.00 for removal of overgrown vegetation per lot from private property that constitutes a nuisance per Ohio Revised Code 505.87.
Seconded by Wollet. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet & Lidle. . . motioned carried.
Trustee Lidle motioned to approve Addendum #1 between the F.O.P and Poland Township, seconded by Wollet. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet, Lidle . . . motioned carried.
Trustee Lidle motioned to approve Nick Mozingo’s Eagle Scout Project & allow expenditures from Township not to exceed for $750.00 & also with provision some funds be raised privately. Nick’s project is at Poland Center Cemetery, he will be putting up signs, adding some parking spaces and taking down dead trees, Seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Ungaro, Wollet & Lidle . . . motioned carried.
Fiscal Office, Paul Canter, gave the financial report for June 2014 as follows:

‐ Butterfly garden paperwork being finalized to be a nationally certified butterfly garden
‐ Replanted trees
‐ Going to lose 20% of trees in park which are ash trees determined by, Mike Fox, who did a detailed inventory of trees in park a few years ago.
‐ 6 Brown Bats in the bat boxes – Bat population declining due to disease & mosquito population increasing.

Chief Goodin gave Monthly Stats for June 2014 (report on file)
Chief updated on arrests for recent car break‐ins and gave suggestions on how to keep future break‐ins from occurring.
‐ Carl Hallquist spoke in regards to the conditions of the sidewalks.
‐ Trustee Lidle addressed the Sidewalk Project concern and stated that ODOT has final decision on project. Gary D’Orio has submitted plan to County, pending their response.
‐ Trustee Wollet removes herself from podium at 7:32
‐ Residents with complaints about Cliffview spoke. Those who spoke were: Steve Stanislav Trustee Wollet returned podium at 7:39
‐ Chief Goodin was excused at 7:39
‐ David Bakalar from Fok Engineering gave Canterbury presentation. The estimate is $650,000 for construction and that’s roughly a 350 Ft. box culvert.
There being no further business, Trustee Lidle moved to adjourn at 8:33 p.m and seconded by Ungaro.
