The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting April 9, 2019 at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland Ohio.
Mr. Kempers led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mr. Ungaro opens the Special meeting at 5:01 p.m.
Mrs. Wollet, Mr. Ungaro and Mr. Kempers were present.
This meeting is to discuss the resurfacing project of the roads.
Mr. Ginnetti speaks about the major road project that is in effect.
Mrs. Wollet talks about a few roads that were not on the list: South Diana Drive, Shepherds Ridge, and Clingan Trails. Conversation occurs of the roads that are being done as a reference to not to have them part of the project. Board also speaks with Mr. Ginnetti of selected roads to save for following years if unavailable, to be part of this project.
Some discussion occurs with a resident, the Board and Mr. Ginnetti.
Mr. Ungaro motions to go in executive session at 5:49 p.m. for an interview. Seconded by Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers.
Mr. Ungaro motions to enter executive session at 6:15 p.m. for reason of personnel. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Wollet, Ungaro and Kempers.
Mr. Ungaro motions to exit executive session at 6:22 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Wollet, Ungaro and Kempers.
Mr. Ungaro motions to enter into regular session at 6:23 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Wollet, Kempers and Ungaro.
Mr. Ungaro motions to hire Megan McCaslin for Zoning Department at the rate $14.50 an hour, not to exceed 30 hours per week pending physical and background check. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Wollet, Kempers and Ungaro.
Mr. Ungaro motions to adjourn at 6:23 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Roll call vote yes- Wollet, Ungaro and Kempers.
