MARCH 21, 2023

                                                                                         SPECIAL MEETING 

The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a Special Meeting on March 21, 2023 at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road Poland, Ohio. Mr. Ungaro opens the special meeting.

Mr. Kempers led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mr. Covell calls roll call. Mr. Ungaro, Mrs. Wollet and Mr. Kempers were present.

The media was properly notified.

Mr. Ungaro motions to approve part time assignment for William Aaron to the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force (Drug Unit) for a period not to exceed 4 years. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Diorio from MS Consultants is present to give an update on Olde Winter Trail project.

Mr. Ungaro motions to approve all phases for the Olde Winter Trail project. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes - Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Diorio reviewed the list of projects cost and placed in order of priority.

Mr. Ungaro motions to approve to move forward to get quotes for Camilla Drive and Morningside. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes - Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

The board spoke on the tax levy and which levy should be on the ballot in November.

Mr. Ungaro motions to exit regular session at 5:46 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes - Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Ungaro motions to enter executive session to discuss personnel issues and contracts at 5:46 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes - Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Ungaro motions to exit executive session at 6:07 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes - Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Ungaro motions to enter regular session at 6:08 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes - Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Ungaro motions to adjourn the meeting at 6:09 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes - Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.
