Regular Meeting
The Poland Township Board of Trustees held their regular meeting January 14th, 2015 at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio.
Mr. Tocco leads in the Pledge.
Jim Scharville calls roll call. Wollet, Lidle, and Ungaro were present.
Ungaro motioned to approve the minutes dated for December 10th, 2014 and January 2nd, 2015. Seconded by Lidle. Voting yes--- Ungaro, Lidle, and Wollet
Ungaro motioned to authorize payment for all outstanding bills for the township. Seconded by Lidle. Voting yes--- Ungaro, Lidle, and Wollet.
Ungaro motioned for Resolution #15-01 Nuisance Notice. Seconded by Lidle.
A handful of people spoke about the Resolution for a few minutes.
Voting yes—Ungaro, Lidle, and Wollet.
Lidle motions to request approval to advertise for bids regarding Resolution #15-01. Seconded by Wollet. Voting yes--- Lidle, Wollet, and Ungaro.
Wollet motions for Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, February 26th, 2015 at 5:30pm, located at Station #93 with Ungaro being the alternate for Castlo Board. Seconded by Lidle. Voting yes--- Wollet, Lidle. Voting no--- Ungaro.
The issue is spoken about for a few minutes.
Dave Smith and Larry Baufman speak about the Poland Historical Society
Larry Baufman speaks about the need of maintenance of The Little Red Schoolhouse, including new windows that are in dire need of restoration.
Dave smith speaks about the Ohio Historical Markers; wanting to get a Historical Marker for The Little Red School House, requesting that the township approve a donation of money for the marker.
The Board speaks about this for several minutes.
Ungaro motions to approve $3000.00 donation to the Poland Historical Society for repair to 3 of the windows in The little Red School House. Seconded by Lidle. Voting yes--- Ungaro, Lidle, and Wollet.
Ron and Sharon Backo from Clovermeade speak about their pipes and getting a videotape of the blockage of the pipes. The Board speaks about this for several minutes.
Mr. Tacco and Mr. Smaldino from Tuscany Estate speak about the roads being plowed in that area. The Board speaks about the problem for several minutes.
Paul Canter gives the Financial Report for November, which was Revenue- $327,386 and Expenditures- $223,898. December Revenue- $109,078 and Expenditures- $277,522. For the year, Revenue-$2,869,287 and Expenditures- $ 3,042,903. Deficit of $173,616.

Park Committee:
Heher gives the Monthly Report. He speaks about the article in The Vindicator about the Ipac Building. The Board speaks for a few minutes on this and other things.
Recycling Department:
No report.
Zoning Department:
Monus gave the monthly report. Total evaluation for December was $280,165.
Monus also gave the Annual Report for the year of 2014.Total Evaluations at $4,345,339. Fees-$37,088
Road Department:
Tom Monus gives monthly report. Picking up trees, plowing, salting, etc.
Police Department:
Chief Goodin gives stats for the month of December.
Public Comment:
Beverly Walsh comes up and speaks about the house on Clyde Street and her concern for the children that could get into the house and harm themselves.

At. 7:11 Ungaro makes a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Lidle. Voting yes--- Ungaro, Lidle, and Wollet.
